Attacks by state forces are getting heavier in Silopi district of Şırnak where nearly a hundred civilians are currently stuck in a basement and under artillery fire.

Amid intense tank strikes against areas targeted by Turkish military and police forces, nearly a hundred civilians got stuck in a basement of a house in Zap neighborhood. The artillery fire against this area has left a 25-year-old civilian wounded, whose ID is yet not clear.

Attacks on Cudi neighborhood have intensified as of 03:00 last night. Nur and Yafes neighborhood are the other main areas targeted by artillery strikes.

While the onslaught is getting heavier in Silopi and Cizre districts of Şırnak, resistance grows in both districts where people take to the streets and protest the never-ending attacks.

Reports say that power is cut in Cudi and Nur neighborhoods of Cizre.
